General Rules for Inflatable Activities
A quick read before the big day goes a long way — these guidelines help make sure everyone walks away with a smile.
Keep the fun going for everyone.
We want every rental to be the highlight of your event. Before the first bounce, give these guidelines a quick look — they're here to keep every participant safe and every event running smoothly. Questions? Our team is always happy to help.
Responsible Adult Supervision Is Required at All Times — Safety Begins with You!
⚡ If winds exceed 15 mph, unplug the inflatable immediately.
Supervision & Safe Use
- Responsible adult supervision is required at all times.
- No one may supervise or participate in any rented activity while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any other intoxicating substance.
- Participants must be of comparable age and size at all times. Persons over age 15 must play separately from younger children; 10–12 year olds should not be mixed with 6–8 year olds; 6–8 year olds should not be mixed with 3–4 year olds.
- Observe all item-specific number and weight restrictions posted on each unit.
Setup & Surface Rules
- Inflatables must be operated on a smooth, compatible surface — grass preferred, not dirt. Installations on concrete, asphalt, or indoors must be disclosed at the time of reservation.
- Units may not be operated on rough surfaces such as tree roots, rocks, glass, or any jagged objects.
- Units must not be placed against any wall, pole, or fixed object, or positioned under electrical power lines.
- Do not move or relocate the inflatable after it has been installed.
- Do not attach signs, banners, or any other items to the rented equipment.
Rider Conduct
- No shoes inside the inflatable — sock feet are OK. No necklaces, jewelry, eyeglasses, or sharp objects allowed.
- No flips, roughhousing, or wrestling. This is a zero-tolerance policy. This behavior can result in serious injury, paralysis, or death.
- All item-specific number and weight limits must be observed at all times.
Cleaning & Care
- Keep the unit clean and dry at all times.
- No food, drinks, or gum near the unit. No water, confetti, sand, or dirt inside or around the inflatable.
- A $100 cleaning fee will be charged if the unit requires cleaning after return.
- Absolutely no Silly String. You will be charged the full replacement cost of the unit, including shipping and loss of rental income.
Delivery
- Delivery is to the address specified by the customer. By receiving the equipment, you grant Duvall's the right to enter the event location for delivery, setup, observation, and return of the rented equipment.
- A $50.00 additional trip charge applies for any extra trip caused by the customer.
Electrical Supply
- The customer is responsible for providing electrical power.
- Each blower requires a dedicated, grounded 120-volt outlet controlled by a 20-amp circuit breaker — no power strips or extension cords, with nothing else drawing current on that circuit.
- The outlet must be no more than 100 feet from the blower.
- The blower must be connected with a 12/3 gauge extension cord (supplied by Duvall's) not to exceed 100 feet.
- Generators must be rated at 4,000 watts or greater.
- Improper electrical connections can cause power failure, blower damage, or fire.
