GENERAL RULES TO FOLLOW FOR INFLATABLE ACTIVITIES

RESPONSIBLE ADULT SUPERVISION IS REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES!!
SAFETY BEGINS WITH YOU!!
1. IF WINDS EXCEED 15 MPH UNPLUG THE INFLATABLE IMMEDIATELY.
2. Inflatable products must be operated over a smooth, compatible surface such as grass, not dirt. Installations on other than grass, (concrete and asphalt, or indoors) must be stated at the time the reservation is made. The unit MAY NOT be operated on rough surfaces, such as tree roots, rocks, glass, or any jagged objects. The unit POSITIVELY may NOT be located against any wall, pole, or fixed object or under electrical power lines.
3. Do not move or re-locate the inflatable after it has been installed. Do not attach anything (signs, banners, etc.) to the rented equipment.
4. No shoes (sock feet OK), necklaces / jewelry, eyeglasses, or sharp objects are allowed in inflatable activities. At any given time, participants should be of a comparable age and size. Examples: Persons over age 15 should play separately from younger children; 10 and 12 yr. olds should not be mixed with 6 and 8 yr. olds; 6 and 8 yr. olds should not be mixed with 3 and 4 yr. olds, etc. Observe “item specific” number and weight restrictions.
5. Please keep the unit clean and dry. No food or drinks, or gum near unit, no water, confetti, sand, or dirt. A $100 fee will be charged for clean up. Absolutely NO SILLY STRING!! You will be charged the entire cost of replacing the unit including shipping and loss of rental income.
6. No Flips, Roughhousing, Wrestling, etc. (THIS IS A NO TOLERANCE POLICY!!) This behavior may result in paralysis or death.
7. No one is allowed to supervise or play on any rented activity that is under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any other “intoxicating” substance.
LIABILITY RELEASE:
Lessee acknowledges that he/she has received and fully understands the verbal, written
and instructions posted on the inflatable provided regarding the safe operation of the rented equipment. Lessee agrees to be in charge of and fully responsible for observing the participants and enforcing all safety precautions, and agrees to be fully responsible for the safety of the equipment and the participants after receiving the unit. Responsible adult supervision is required at all times. Lessee agrees Lessor is not responsible for any injuries occurring to any person using the rented equipment, and Lessee further agrees to hold Duvall’s Amusement Rentals / Space Walk of Shreveport, Inc. and its officers, employees and agents free and harmless against any injury or claims. The Lessee agrees to indemnify the Lessor, and its officers, employees and agents for any costs incurred due to claims from anyone involving the use and return of these rented products including attorney’s fees should legal action become necessary.
DELIVERY:
1. To address specified by lessee (customer). Lessee grants to Lessor the right to enter the event location property for the delivery, set up, observation and return of the rented equipment. Customer is subject to an additional charge of $50.00 for any extra trip caused by customer.
ELECTRICAL SUPPLY:
1. Lessee to supply electrical power.
2. Each inflatable blower requires a dedicated, grounded, 120 volt outlet (no power strip or extension cord allowed) controlled by a 20 amp circuit breaker with nothing else drawing current.
3. The outlet must be located no more than 100 feet from the blower.
4. The blower must be connected to the power outlet with a 12/3 gage extension cord (we supply the cord) not to exceed 100 feet in length.
5. The use of a generator requires the generator to be rated at 4,000 watts or greater.
6. Improper electrical supply or connections can cause power failure to the blower, cause damage to the blower, or cause a fire.

CANCELLATIONS / WEATHER / REFUND POLICY:
1. All reservations with Duvall’s Amusement Rentals require a NON-REFUNDABLE but TRANSFERABLE deposit in advance of the event. The deposit is 50% of the total.
2. The deposit amount will be applied to the total charges due.
3. Rentals may be paid by check, credit card or cash.
4. Checks returned not paid, incur a $45 service fee and must be paid in cash when notified. If payment is not received within 3 days, the check will be turned over to the Caddo Parish District Attorney for collection – minimum charge being an additional $75 plus court costs.
5. Cancellations must happen between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM the day prior to the start of the arrival window if the cancellation is due to inclement weather (greater than 50% chance of rain for the hours of the event based on www.weather.com ). At this time, you may transfer your deposit to be used for rescheduling within 10 months of the original event date.
6. If cancelled AFTER 12:00 PM on the day prior to the start of the arrival window, your deposit is no longer refundable.
7. Should you cancel once the vehicle containing your order leaves the warehouse, you will be charged the full rental fee for the event.
8. No refunds, credits, or discounts will be issued for any occurrences outside of Duvall’s Amusement Rentals physical control resulting in any equipment or service not being able to be used or being cancelled or refused by the customer.
9. We reserve the right to cancel this rental at any time due to any unsafe conditions.
At this time, you may transfer your deposit to be used for rescheduling within 10 months of the original event date.
10. Unsafe weather conditions include rain, wind exceeding 15 mph, and temperature below 45 degrees. We use industry standards, manufacturer specifications, ASTM standards, and weather reports from www.weather.com to determine safe/unsafe conditions.
11. IF WINDS EXCEED 15 MPH UNPLUG THE INFLATABLE IMMEDITALEY.
